Junior Competitions

The day started with a pre-convention tour. Visitors boarded a bus as they explored Northern Michigan and drove across one of the longest suspension bridges in the world leading to Mackinac Island. Taking a horse drawn carriage, tour members visited the island.

Juniors "Set Sail"

In its second year, the Junior Advisory Committee hosted a youth workshop. Jolene Griffin, director of industry relations, United Dairy Industry of Michigan, presented “Positively Promoting Our Product.” Jolene had Juniors captivated with her presentation. Together Jolene and our youth discussed how to use positivity while promoting the dairy industry to others.
